Product Description

Function: Use its anti-vibration part to dampen wind vibration, consume or attenuate the vibration energy generated by the laminar wind during the operation of the optical cable, and prevent the damage of the hardware and the optical cable.

Purpose: Suitable for ADSS optical cable.

Note: The installation position of the spiral damper on the tension clamp or the suspension clamp is the same.


Product Characteristic:

1.Effectively reduces levels of Aeolian vibration on cables.

2.Has a helically formed dampening section sized for interplay of damper and cable, to provide the action/ reaction motion that opposes the natural vibration wave. A smaller gripping section gently grips the cable so that cable and fiber are not damaged or distorted and there is no optical signal loss.

3.ADSS cables tend to vibrate at higher levels than other cables of comparable size, mainly due to their relatively lighter weight.
Also the soft nature of their jackets and internal construction requires special consideration.

Installation Instructions

1. The first one is installed at a distance> 500mm from the end of the inner twisted wire, and the second one is installed at a distance of 120mm from the end of the first one. This installation method can be called series installation.

The two pieces are stacked together and installed at a distance> 500mm from the end of the strand. This installation method can be called parallel installation. 
 

 (The two methods have basically the same damping effect)
